2. Scope of This Policy

6. Project Confidentiality

ArcForge understands that project submissions may contain valuable ideas, product concepts, or business information.

We use project information primarily to evaluate and perform the requested work. However, this Privacy Policy does not automatically create a nondisclosure agreement, fiduciary relationship, patent protection, or trade-secret agreement.

Customers who need specific confidentiality protections should request and execute a written nondisclosure agreement before submitting highly sensitive, proprietary, or unreleased information.

ArcForge may share project information with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, consultants, and service providers when reasonably necessary to evaluate, quote, design, manufacture, test, ship, or otherwise complete the project.

These parties receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role whenever practical.

7. Portfolio and Marketing Use

ArcForge may ask customers for permission to display completed projects or portions of projects in:

• The ArcForge portfolio;

• Website case studies;

• Social-media posts;

• Advertising;

• Printed materials;

• Presentations; or

• Other marketing content.

ArcForge will not intentionally publish confidential project files, proprietary specifications, customer contact information, or unreleased products without authorization.

Permission for portfolio use may be documented through email, a project agreement, a release, a form selection, or another written method.

You may decline portfolio use without affecting ArcForge’s evaluation of your project, unless a reduced-price or promotional arrangement expressly depends on portfolio permission.

ArcForge is not a healthcare provider, healthcare application, or consumer-health-data service.

Our website is not intended to collect information about an individual’s:

A customer seeking design or manufacturing assistance for a healthcare-related product should first contact ArcForge without including patient data or individually identifiable health information.

If ArcForge later begins intentionally collecting consumer health data, it may publish a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

14. Data Retention

ArcForge retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Retention periods may depend on:

• Whether a project is active;

• Whether a quote was accepted;

• The type of service provided;

• Warranty or service considerations;

• Contractual obligations;

• Accounting and tax requirements;

ArcForge may retain limited information after a deletion request when reasonably necessary to:

• Complete a transaction;

• Maintain tax or accounting records;

• Establish that a request was completed;

• Prevent fraud;

• Enforce an agreement;

• Protect legal rights;

• Maintain backup integrity.

When information is no longer reasonably required, ArcForge may delete, destroy, anonymize, or de-identify it.

Email and text messages are not guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may opt out of promotional messages, but ArcForge may continue sending communications concerning:
